Self harm scars

Are scars that don't fade

Even when the lines are gone.

Are a representation of hurt and tears

Each scar bears a reminder

A reminder of pain and sorrow.

A reminder of when you felt you weren't good enough;

But when you see these scars,

Your have endured

You have endured the pain, sorrow and sadness

You are alive

Only people who are alive have self harm scars

On our hearts,

On our minds,

On our family,

On our arms or thighs or stomach

We are alive
